MANAGING SHIRTS
Shirts for participants come in various colors that stay the same from year to year. Commissioners are expecrted to assign coaches to teams based on the color of their shirts:
1st-6th Grade

If more teams are needed then colors that exist, the colors start over from Balck.
Please understand that VYI orders 9 shirts per team for most leagues except 1-3rd grade and HS, where we order 10 per team. If there are fewer players on average then 9 or 10 times the number of teams we pull shirts from the bottom of the color order up toward the top and store them for future use. SO, for a league with average "9 player" teams, if you assigned ten players to a team you should be missing a shirt in that color, but have extras on a team with 8 players that you need to recover and return. If a "9 player per team" league has some teams with 10 players it is up to the commisisoner to request the extra shirts.
We try to control registrations and payment using shirts so if kids have not paid, you should not give them a shirt or ask for another, because you provided a shirt to a player who has not paid, and someone else who paid is short a shirt.
Under no circumstances should any commissioner provide a shirt to a player who has not paid. Players may not use a shirt from last year to play without properly completing their registration for the current season and paying in full or requesting a waiver using the proper procedure.
